MILWAUKEE —The flu is to blame for the death of a University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee dance instructor.
Only on WISN 12 News, Terry Sater sat down with the president of the American Medical Association on Tuesday to talk about this season's devastating flu impact.
UW-Milwaukee dance students learned on their first day back from winter break that they lost one of their instructors to flu. Dance teacher David Neyer's obituary said he died at home last week.
"He passed through flu complications, tragically," University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Department of Dance Chair Simone Ferro said. "A week prior to his death he was here. We crossed paths in the hallway as usual when he was preparing the course."
The death of the UW-Milwaukee dance teacher points a problem the president of the American Medical Association said we need to overcome.
