Film alum and faculty member Tate Bunker's "Little Red" will be showcased at the Berlin Independent Film Festival on February 9. "Little Red" is a drama which serves as a contemporary retelling of "Little Red Riding Hood." A wolfish pedophile named Lou, played by Mark Metcalf (Animal House, Seinfield, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), stalks preteen Milwaukeean ‘Red’ on her whimsical, runaway trip to Florida. Happily ever after does not come easily, or without a price, in this hauntingly beautiful adventure film. Read more about "Little Red" here.
Current Film graduate student Josh Weissbach's "106 River Road" will be screening at the 9th Annual Berlin International Directors Lounge on February 16. This six-minute film presents a recorded reading of a court document and the disintegrating image of his house to depict the rifts in his family life. Read more about "106 River Road" here.
