So, there's still no blanket of white on the ground, but you've got to get into the Christmas spirit.
Who better to get you there than "Bad Santa"? Your friends at the Beer and a Movie series are here to help, with a screening of the 2003 holiday comedy at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Turner Hall Ballroom, 1040 N. 4th St. Sure, it's kinda dark, but with a surprisingly heartwarming center (unless that's the beer talking).
Too much holiday spirit? Then how about checking out from scenes from great operas -- for free? Students from the UWM Peck School of the Arts' Opera Workshop class are presenting scenes from classic operas from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Recital Hall at 2400 E. Kenwood Blvd.
