Music student Wentong Zhang was chosen as the winner of the 2012 UWM Symphony's Young Artist Competition, held on December 11.
Wentong Zhang is a member of the String Academy of Wisconsin's Violin Virtuosi and a student of Darcy Drexler.
He resides in Whitefish Bay and his parents are Dr. and Mrs. Bo Zhang.
He will perform C. Saint Saen's Concerto #3 for violin in b minor, 1st movement with UWM Symphony Orchestra on Feb. 15, 2013.
