So, we're going to get some answers today -- about world peace, the future, the meaning of art and how to use LinkedIn.
First, consider that Palestinian novelist Samier El-Youssef will talk about the prospect of peace tonight at the Boswell Book Company. A Palestinian refugee now living in London, he will discuss one the most vexing political questions of the age: Is it possible to find a middle ground in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict?
Over at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Dr. Scott Emmons, the interim dean of the Peck School of the Arts, will give a lecture titled: "The Place of Arts in American Society." Emmons will talk about the economic impact of the arts on cities and Milwaukee in particular.
