Art & Design Associate Lecturer (and MFA alum) Leah Schreiber Johnson's work is currently on display at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookfield as part of the exhibit, Diagram: A Collaboration. Diagram is a performance drawing, expressing the very nature of creative collaboration through both movement and mark-making. Using graphite powder and charcoal, the large white floor becomes a record of both systematic and chaotic physical interactions. The work was developed and performed for Art to Art 2012, a DanceLAB production at Danceworks, Inc. in Milwaukee. Videos from the rehearsal process and physical records produced in the making of Diagram will be included in this exhibition.
