The Milwaukee Film Festival will show four documentaries, one fiction narrative and a shorts program as part of its series of films by Milwaukee-area filmmakers at this year's festival. The program is called Cream City Cinema.
The offerings, some of which have already been in the news, include:
"The Jeffrey Dahmer Files"(Oct. 2, 7, 8, 10)Chris James Thompson's documentary about the Milwaukee serial killer weaves the stories of a medical examiner, a detective and a neighbor with archival footage. Andrew Swant plays Dahmer in dramatic recreations.
