Music faculty Dr. Beverly Belfer to be honored as Milwaukee Brewers Community Achiever in June

Each month during baseball season, the Milwaukee Brewers select a Community Achiever winner in recognition of their contribution to the community.

The Milwaukee Brewers will honor Dr. Beverly Belfer, a faculty member in the Peck School of the Arts Music Department,  as the Community Achiever on Tuesday, June 19,  2012, when the Brewers play the Toronto Blue Jays. (game time is 7:10 pm.) Dr. Belfer will receive four complimentary game tickets, be recognized on the field during the pre-game ceremony as the Brewers Community Achiever for the month of June and will receive a certificate for her services along with a bag filled with Brewers memorabilia. She will also throw out the ceremonial first pitch that day!
