A recent MFA graduate and current member of the Art & Design faculty at the Peck School of the Arts, Leah Schreiber's installation Crow's Nest Karma will be on view at Plaid Tuba in Milwaukee's Third Ward on Gallery Night, Friday, January 20th. The opening reception will run from 5-9pm at 120 N. Broadway on the corner of Erie and Broadway.
Leah Schrieber's work uses the language of drawing in a variety of media, from acrylic painting to performance, to investigate the gap between the scientific certitude and subjective experience of the physical body. Her active national exhibition record includes solo, invitational, and juried exhibitions, and recently exhibited internationally in Budapest, Hungary.
