What's increasingly true of dinner parties goes double for all too much contemporary theater: Because everyone is trying so hard to be agreeably entertaining, nothing substantive ever gets said.
That's never been a problem for Windfall Theatre, which doesn't get nearly the attention it deserves for programming that is regularly among the smartest and most courageous in Milwaukee...
...Throw in a feminist vegan (Amy Hansmann), an African American minister (Toni Martin), a New York firefighter (Christopher Elst) and the often clueless Suzie - a thinly disguised Martha Stewart - and you can rest assured that the chit-chat won't be about the kids' soccer games...
